Insurance-Overview of Coverages and Claims Reporting

Insurance policies are written with very precise and technical language. Failure to understand and adhere to the terms and requirements of insurance policies can lead to diminished or even loss of coverage. Additionally, policies always contain a time requirement within which to report a claim. The procedure in reporting must be strictly observed so that the coverage benefits are not forfeited.   

The services we provide to our church clients in this area (some of which are coordinated with the church insurance agent) include the following:

• General overview of the insurance coverages and policies.

• Coordination with the church client and insurance agency relationships to ensure proper scope of coverage.

• Review and summary with key pastoral/administrative staff of the process and procedure for timely and properly reporting a claim under applicable insurance policies.
